While it might seem odd to some people, even people with dark skin need to use sunscreen everyday. Sun is the number one factor in sun damage and premature aging of your skin. Making sure you stay hydrated is another simple, yet very important, way for you to keep your skin clear. Most experts recommend you drink around 8 glasses of water every day to maintain proper hydration. 

Unfortunately, most people who want to lose weight don't really have that kind of patience. The thinking is that results should happen quite quickly. And they usually don't. You didn't gain weight overnight, so you won't lose it overnight no matter how much you exercise. If you don't start slowly when you begin an exercise program but instead jump into it full force, you raise your risk of injury. 

Exercise lets you enjoy food more, which is a benefit few people really talk about. You can diet to an extreme. If you're taking in a very small amount of calories compared to how many you are burning, you're not doing yourself any favors. You need to reach a minimum number of calories per day. For most people a 1200 calorie diet is close to starvation. 

By exercising regularly you are releasing these endorphins into your system which will help you feel less out of control and stressed. This feeling of well being will follow you throughout the day, long after you've left the gym. Another stress busting factor in exercise is the ability to get out all, or at least some, of your pent up frustrations. 

Exercise also builds muscles, which require much more fuel to run than fat cells muscles burn more calories even during stationary periods, helping to maintain weight loss even after the end of the diet. For anyone struggling to lose weight, the key is not to rely upon either diet or exercise for effective weight-loss; in the long term, both of these elements are necessary in order to prevent the weight from being gained back as soon as the fitness program ends.
