You should drink about eight glasses of water every single day to keep your body properly hydrated. Also make sure you get enough sleep. Again you need to keep your body in tip top shape to help you in your fight against acne. Keeping your acne under control doesn't have to be stressful and consume your entire life.

While it might seem odd to some people, even people with dark skin need to use sunscreen everyday. Sun is the number one factor in sun damage and premature aging of your skin. This is true no matter what color you are. You should never go outside in the sun without wearing sunscreen. If you are going to be out in the sun for an extended period of time you should also wear a hat and other protective clothing.

Drink about eight glasses of water every day. 5. Find, and use, a good lotion, 'good' being the operative word. Like I mentioned above many of the products you buy at the store contain harmful chemicals. The minimum problem with them is that they simply don't work. The worst problem is that there is mounting evidence that these products can actually cause cancer.

If your acne is severe and before beginning any treatment on your own, the best thing to do is speak with your doctor to see if there is something he or she recommends either over the counter or prescription. A prescription may be covered by insurance so you won't have to foot the entire bill all by yourself.

That can be the wrong thing to do because more often than not these products contain harmful chemicals that are actually worse for your skin and will dry your skin out even more. They will feel good when you first put them on but over time you'll feel like you need to add more. The reality is that most of these products are so large at a molecular level that they just sit on the top layer of skin.

Tips On Acne Prone Skin Care If your skin is prone to acne you already know how challenging it can be to find the proper products, not to mention good advice, on how to best care for your skin. Finding good acne prone skin care is challenging but it's not impossible. One of the most common, and potentially worst piece of advice we all get, about taking care of our skin is to wash our face frequently.
