UPDATED SKINCARE ROUTINE

Now that you've taken care of the inside of your body, it's time to think about what products you need to apply to the outside of your body. Many blacks have used products such as shea and cocoa butter for their skin care needs. You have to be careful though that these products aren't overly processed.

That is not what you want. What you should do is limit the amount of times you wash your face to twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. Use a mild, non abrasive soap, use your fingers, stay away from wash clothes, to apply the cleanser. Gently rub it into your skin in easy circular motions.

Skin care is no different. Many manufacturers are jumping on the 'green' bandwagon and that can make it very hard for the average consumer to know which organic skin care product is truly organic and which is not. There is very little regulation when it comes to labeling of cosmetics. Food, alcohol, even household cleaners have more labeling regulations than the products you put on your skin like lotions, in your hair such as shampoos, conditioners and even in your mouth, like toothpaste and mouthwashe.

Getting regular exercise allows you to take in more calories while still losing weight. This is a true benefit for anyone who wants to be able to eat normal meals. You won't be able to eat anything you want. You can't enjoy lasagna five times a week or have ice cream every day even if you're exercising.

Not only will overexposure to the sun dry your skin and force your sebaceous glands to secrete more oil making your acne worse, you will also prematurely age your skin if you get too much sun. And never forget, healthy skin starts on the inside, not the outside. Make sure you properly fuel your body with a wide selection of healthy fruits and vegetables.

You can wrap a band around your back, hold the ends of it, and push your fists forward. You can step up on the band and pulls the ends up. Hold the band in place against your hip while you exercise on arm and then switch sides. Even just playing around with these bands helps you strength train. Almost any exercise you can do with the barbell or dumbbell set, you can do with resistance bands.
