But with resistance bands, you practically have a whole set of weights in one piece of equipment. While the band is set up to offer a certain amount of resistance, if you hold it in a different way you increase the resistance. By giving yourself very little slack, for instance, you can double or triple the resistance of the band. I don't mean to sound sexist, and the truth is that every situation is different, but when you have a working wife and mother she has the demands of a boss, the demands of her children and their often overloaded schedules, and the demands of her husband. That's a lot coming at her all at once, and it's vitally important she take care of herself and her health so she can meet those demands head on.
